Aden's 7 months and cute as button :)

April 23rd Aden Turned 7 months (My sister Christina had a birthday the day before, Happy B-day Christina!)

I'm going to have to childproof my home soon because Aden learned how to cover a lot of ground rolling and scooting this week. Go Aden!

Busy Week

Hey Everyone-

Eric and I have had a crazy week. We had so much fun at Destinations Inn and would highly recommend it for a romantic get away. When we were there not only we were in a tropical paradise but Aden was so excited. He loved every minute of it. He was grinning from ear to ear. It was so much FUN!

Some of the crazy stuff this week was Eric's Internship was delayed, our car would not start and we had to spend all week, and our life's savings to figuring out why. ( Turns out a wire just wasn't connected, and Eric is the one who figured it out) The good news is now it works and so does our automatic door lock on our back seat door, our left blinker, and our defroster. Apparently they were all connected.

Greatfully the Lord send beautiful weather this week. So we did a lot of walking :)

Our letter E on our keyboard burnt out....so now we have to get a new keyboard. Plus things on my spring cleaning blog actually started to sell.

We have also been dealing with flooring business', counter top business' and our manger to repair our counter and floor. ( I accidentally melted a pan and it dripped on the counter and floor)
P.S. We highly recommend renters insurance......that is if your renting otherwise a small accident could suck your life savings.

Eric added an online accounting class because he found out he needed another class to graduate next year.

Plus on top of that I had to show my apartment to people interested in buying the building and renting.

These are just a few things we have been doing that have made us keep running. We are not sure when Eric will get to start his intership but he is ready to get out of the house. I however am tired of leaving the house and am ready to stay home and play with Aden.

Well hope you are all having a good week and thanks for reading my blog :)

Congo, congo, congo were going to the Congo!

Well to the Congo suite at least... :) For our family vacation/ 3rd year Anniversary Eric, Aden and I are taking a trip to Destinations Inn in I.F. to the Congo Suite this week. We decided to go a month early because Eric is starting his new job and won't have time or energy to party. :) I made a fun outfit for the Aden last night and here is some pictures of our suite.

"Jungle foliage, colorful talking birds, a hidden diamond mine, and strange creatures are all around. But don’t worry. The bed is huge, king size in fact, and you don’t have to leave it. Unless of course you want to take a bath in the huge chromatherapy champagne bubbler tub. Other modern amenities include an aromatherapy steam shower, stereo projection screen TV, and remote control to manage everything including the animals." Quote from the site.

It's amazing how kids can sleep :)

Lookin' at the ducks....quack quack

I have been teaching Aden sign language and duck is one of the more common animals I do. This is Aden's first time ever seeing a real duck. He was really interested in them. We also saw 5 turtles and about 1000 gold fish. (Easter Sunday @ the nature park)
All the orange you see is gold fish. We think someone came and dumped their fish tank in the pond and they multiplied over the winter.

Hope you had a Happy Easter

Aden got this truck for Easter. He really likes it!

The Easter Bunny brought Eric and I dove eggs which were hidden around the house and insoles for our shoes. Mmmmmmmmmm they feel nice. :)

My Mom and Dad (Aden's Grandma and Grandpa) held an Easter egg hunt Saturday and Aden collected 10 eggs with a total of 7 dollars in change. I think he got the most money out of everyone but who knows. The grandkids that were toddlers cleaned up the rest and came home with like 30 eggs. hehe. It was really fun.

Sunday was wonderful too. I was stressed in the morning because Eric and I were asked to give talks in Sacrament meeting. It turned out that the other speakers took up the whole meeting so we were going to have to wait and get up the courage in a few weeks. My talk was based off of Elder Hollands talk from Sunday's conference "None were with Him" and it was an Easter talk. The Bishop knew that and so he sqeezed me in at the end. Eric will have to wait a few weeks to give his though. My Mom and Dad were able to come and took care of Aden for us while we sat on the stand. It was a great experience for me to learn and grow. :)

Happy Easter. I know that Jesus Christ is real and He lived and died for me and you. I know that He lives and is a witness of everything clean and pure. I have received a personal witness that He knows me and loves me. The atonement is real and we can be made clean if we choose to use it. Our Savior did die for us and was resurrected again. I know that as I choose to follow Him I will never be alone and He will invite me to the mansions above He is preparing. I know that through Him I can be with my family for all eternity. I know these things are true and say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Schools Out!

Yeah for vacations! Eric is finished with his school work and will start again in the fall. He is working on a side job designing a families yard and working extra hours at the school as a safety inspector. He will start his new internship designing and constructing a communities landscape in ammon starting April 20th.

In the meantime we are signing a contract to move to Peterson Point this Summer sometime in July. I found a great deal that includes ALL our utilities so that will save us a lot of money. Eric has applied for management of the 4plex and we will get some extra money for that too. The owner is coming up from Utah to meet him but said he pretty much has the job.

Summer is just around the corner and we are so excited. We have been taking family walks in our new stroller. Happy Easter to everyone and may we all remember what we are celebrating!

Love Heidi

Life from a new view!

Aden can sit by himself now for about 5 mins. Cool stuff huh? We took a little video of some family fun so hope you enjoy!
